Crissy Jo has over 22 years of professional cheer coaching experience. Former FCC Staffer and Director, FCC Listed National Choreographer, Two Time FCC Staffer of the Year and Alumni of the University of Alabama. Crissy Jo started this company shortly after retiring from Cheer. Over the years Crissy Jo worked a full-time job in software/technology sales all WHILE coaching cheer/tumbling part time. Through the support of her clients and word of mouth, she was able to grow her clientele and finally open her first physical location (CheerPro Training) in March of 2021. It is her mission to encourage, minister to and build up all athletes entrusted to her. She is committed to providing the most professional team of coaches and colleagues to provide to you and your children the best coaching resources in the country! Now a Wife and MOM of 2 sweet girls under TWO, you may catch her daughters (aka the CheerPro mascots LOL) walking around the front parlor greeting your athletes as they check in.

Coach Johnathan absolutely loves his athletes and will expect nothing but hard work from them. He is very well known in our area as a top-notch coach that gets results from all athletes entrusted to him. We are very blessed to have him on the CheerPro Team.

Stevi Kreger, a San Diego, California native, brings over a decade of experience in cheerleading and tumbling. Her background ranges from sideline cheer, all-star cheer, and youth programs, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the sport. Using her studies of Child Development at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Stevi combines her academic knowledge with her passion for cheer to motivate and guide athletes toward peak performance. She is dedicated to fostering confidence, discipline, and a love for the sport, while helping each athlete refine their skills and reach their full potential.

ALL Tumbling Levels 1 - 6 (both right and left spinners for level 5), CoEd and Group Stunting Coaching Expert, Acro (Aerials)

Jumps and Cheer Prep

Kevin is from Brighton, Alabama and has 10+ years of cheer experience. He began his cheer career in the 2013–2014 season competing Level 4 Senior CoEd All Star Cheer. He later served as an Assistant Gym Manager during the 2015–2016 season.

In 2016, Kevin earned a full-ride scholarship to Wallace State Community College, where he also received his Associate’s Degree. He then continued both his education and cheer career at the University of West Georgia (2019–2021), where he became a Collegiate National Champion. Kevin has also worked for UCA for multiple years and brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and experience to CheerPro athletes.

Coach Laura Grace (LG) has over 9 years of competitive cheer and training experience and over 6 years of coaching experience. With her main focus being the biomechanics of tumbling, LG believes the more an athlete understands what they are doing and why they are doing it, the less likely they are to get stuck on skills or pick up any sort of “block”. She is a firm believer in “drills make skills”. She loves to uplift and encourage her athletes to overcome adversity!

Jeremiah is an experienced tumbling coach with over 4 years of experience coaching athletes of all ages (Levels 1 - 4). He is very enthusiastic about helping his athletes progress and finding new teaching methods to lead them towards success. Jeremiah is also certified with USA Cheer, and a student at UAB working towards a degree in Exercise Science. He looks forward to taking this knowledge to help all CheerPro athletes gain strength and ultimately grow in their skills. 

We are so blessed to add Jeremiah to our amazing CheerPro Coaching Staff. Give him a BIG welcome home!

Izola has 23 yrs of professional experience in the cheerleading industry (coaching, judging, mentoring, consulting, training, and Choreography/ Clean Up) As a former Icelandic gymnast at the young age of 5yrs. Old until returning back to the states at the age of 13; Izola developed a deep passion and understanding for tumbling/Acro. For 20 yrs. Izola has been a NCA  “Head Instructor” for varsity spirit cheer camps and has performed in the famous Walt Disney World “Christmas Day Parade”. She is an Alumni of the University of Alabama and  has been with Crissy Jo at CheerPro since the physical location opened in March 2021. In her spare time Izola is a certified judge of 15+yrs. for the “largest Cheerleading Brand” in the World (Varsity Spirit). She is highly recommended as she judges high school (local, regional, and state), All-Star  (Prep - International level 6) and College National events.  She is phenomenal at all things cheer.  She is a beautiful Spirit who is a masterful encourager and mentor in building confidence, character, and skills.

 Coach Ricia Thomas is a native of Birmingham AL who has enjoyed over 21 years of cheer coaching experience, ranging from sideline to All star cheerleading. Coach Ricia specializes in athlete skill building with tumbling, stunting, jumps, fitness, choreography and tryout preparation. With comfort and expertise in Levels 1 - 5, she is able to train both individual athletes as well as team programs. Coach Ricia is excited to share in the God-filled mission and heart of CheerPro and preparing athletes to be their best, on and off the mats!

Coach Alex is a positive and encouraging coach who looks to bring out the best in his athletes through technical training and specified strength training methodologies.
